WKCE Testing
Students enrolled in a public school in Wisconsin are mandated to participate in state-wide testing during their 6th, 7th and 8th grade years. Monroe Virtual Middle School (MVMS) students must take the state test. Testing must be completed in a proctored location. The MVMS program coordinator will work with each student to administer the test or arrange for testing in a proctored alternate location.

Academic Honesty
Students enrolled in the MVMS and its associated programs must adhere to standards of strict academic honesty. Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to, plagiarism, submitting others work as your own, using answer or solution keys. Students who are found to violate academic honesty expectations will be subject to various disciplinary actions that may include failing a course, being required to resubmit course work, and/or expulsion from the MVMS.

The mission of the School District of Monroe is to provide a learning environment that treats all students with dignity and respect, and provide a safe physical and emotional learning environment. In keeping with this philosophy, the MVMS adheres to the School District of Monroe harassment policy. Harassment in any form is strictly forbidden. It is the intent of the school board to deal with any and all incidents of harassment in an appropriate manner. A complete copy of the harassment policy may be obtained by contacting the School District of Monroe District Office at 608.328.7170.

Student Records
Student records will be maintained for each student enrolled in the MVMS. Student records will include, but may not be limited to, grades, course completion, enrollment data, credit data, grade point average, pertinent personal information, and WKCE testing summary. This information will be maintained in a confidential manner and utilized only for school-based purposes. A parent or guardian must sign a release of information for student records to be sent or shared with any agency, individual or institution.
